DUKEM 109 INTERNAL BOILER TREATMENT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Dukem 109 is an organic product for the prevention of corrosion and scale in boiler waters. Corrosion control is achieved fundamentally by the organic structure reacting with oxygen. Lower treatment levels are required in the presence of high feed water temperatures and alkalinity. This product inhibits crystal growth of the scaling salts as they develop, thereby creating a mobile sludge easily removed by boiler blowdown. Dukem 109 is not foam inducing and fuel savings can be calculated against other programs.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

Dukem 109 is non toxic. Avoid skin and eye contact. In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention immediately. In case of skin contact, wash with water and soap.
